REVOLUTION Turbine Technologies (RTT) is pleased to announce they have been selected as one of twenty startups competing in the 2022 Texas A&M New Ventures Competition on May 18-19th in College Station.

The event has awarded over $2.4 million in prizes to Texas-based startups since launching seven years ago.

A joint effort of the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station, Texas A&M Innovation Partners, and the Texas A&M University System, along with a growing number of sponsors, the TNVC aims to promote the commercialization of emerging technology and ensure that today’s innovative ideas become reality. The competition recognizes companies with high-growth potential and provides seed funding to help them effectively execute their ideas and advance product development. “We are honored to be included with such a strong field of companies in this year’s competition and look forward to sharing the story of our technology and our business plans with the judges, sponsors and attendees,” commented Chris Bean, RTT’s CEO and founder.

About RTT: REVOLUTION Turbine Technologies, based at Greentown Labs in Houston, is developing a scalable clean energy solution, which harvests excess pressure in flowing gas streams to generate reliable, zero-emission, off-grid electricity for pipelines, facilities, and gas distribution networks. RTT’s micro-Expansion Turbine System reduces carbon footprint while increasing electric power available for operations and resilience.
