Weatherford agreement lapses. Unable to raise capital to further develop the turbine, NGTT Founder and owner decides to wind down operations.

US patents are awarded to NGTT. Weatherford pilots the GT-400 in the Gulf of Mexico, and one unit is supplied to Shell – Nigeria.
2009
Through the Weatherford agreement, one GT-400 unit is supplied to Pemex for trial, and three units are supplied to Chevron – Gulf of Mexico.
